Repairs
***PLEASE READ COMPLETELY PRIOR TO SENDING IN ANY RETURNS***
If you send a package via UPS and get a tracking number for that package from UPS, you can track your shipment using the UPS web site at www.ups.com.
Please print, and complete the Heil Hospital Form, and ship with your product for service. No return authorization number is required when you complete and return this form with your product.
If your product is still under warranty, please let us know in the Heil Hospital Form. Be certain to enclose a photocopy of your dated sales receipt. A copy of a dated sales receipt is required for all warranty repairs!
Acceptable payment methods:
Acceptable payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal check and money order. (If paying by personal check, your order will be held until your check is cleared)
Estimates:
If you would like an estimate prior to repair, please specifically request one on the Heil Service Form; be certain to include your daytime telephone number and e-mail address. We will call or e-mail the quote following inspection of the product. We charge US$15.00 plus return shipping for all declined estimates.
Refurbishing
We will refurbish your headset (any model) just using the new fiberglass reinforced side pieces and swivel mounts, new ear pads and cable (if needed) for $45.00 (plus $14.00 S&H UPS return). This excludes the cost of a new microphone element. Replacing a new element is $45.00 additional if needed. Your Heil headset will come back to you in like new condition and ready for lots more DX and Contest action. All other products outside the one year warranty period are dealt with on a case by case basis.
You'll receive your repair back:
Via UPS shipping, normal delivery. Faster UPS delivery methods are available upon request. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the party requesting the service work. All warranty repairs are returned prepaid by Heil Sound, no COD's. Turnaround time for repairs is typically three to four working days plus shipping time. UPS will notify you via e-mail of your tracking number when the shipment is processed if you include your e-mail address.
